An easy Christmas craft that will keep their attention for more than 5 minutes.

I am not that type of mom that has an official craft ready to go every day. Far from it. I am a big fan of kids getting creative with some construction paper, kid scissors, a few markers and a glue stick. I like to let them take the lead. Maybe that is laziness on my part. Hmmm, maybe.
An easy
The other night, Brian and I were in the city on a date night and there was this adorable outside market with all of these vendors selling Christmas items. One vendor had these adorable wooden ornaments for sale that could be painted. I knew my girls would LOVE them. I picked out one of the baby Jesus and one of an angel.

Ironically, the day before, Madilyn noticed two ornaments on our tree that were wood and asked if she could “color” them. I said “No” but maybe I should have said “Yes” because really, would it matter? I need to learn to say “Yes” more often, I know. Working on that, my friend.
Regardless, I gave them the new ornaments and this craft kept there attention for like 35 minutes straight. Yes. This is like forever in toddler and preschool time. Therefore, I had to share. All you need is a couple wood ornaments and some washable markers. Easy! This could also turn into a great homemade gift for grandparents. I bet they would love them.
