Oatmeal chocolate chip lactation cookies

These cookies not only help with breast feeding supply, they are super tasty and healthy for everyone!
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ⅓ cup brewer's yeast
  • ⅓ cup ground flaxseed
  • 1 cup real maple syrup
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ⅔ cup chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine dry ingredients - oats, flour, sea salt, brewer's yeast and ground flaxseed.
  3. Combine wet ingredients - maple syrup, melted butter and vanilla extract.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. With a cookie scooper or spoon, form dough into small balls on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
