Weekend mornings are my idea of heaven. One Weekend Morning really stands out. A morning that I think about often. This kind of morning make everything else worth it. They don't happen perfectly all the time but when they do... it's magic.
One morning, Keren and Dana from All Heart Photo & Video came to our home and captured us through video and photography. Real life shots of us in pajamas, making breakfast, making coffee, playing restaurant in the playroom and running around outside. No fussy studio session needed. No crazy coordinated outfits needed. No fussy kiddos (because Keren and Dana are THE BEST). This lifestyle session let us all be relaxed and real. It let us just be us. Perfection.
I made pancakes. (Healthy ones, of course, but we added some mini chocolate chips or syrup!)
Brian made fancy coffees for us. (He doesn't trust me to work that fancy gadget.)
The girls helped set the table.
We read books on our bed.
The sun was out and playing outside was a must.
Life made sense that day. So much to be thankful for. So blessed. Read all about me and my family and why I love being a blogger and health coach!
Check out this video that makes me cry my eyes out every time I watch it. Sigh.

"We believe that the perfectly subtle and wonderfully simple moments that happen in your home on any given day are the ones you’ll be wishing to relive years down the road. We also believe that allowing those moments to be captured in an uninterrupted way can tell the most heartfelt stories and make for the most treasured heirloom. This mean your family is free to be themselves, our time together is free to unfold organically, and real emotions and moments are free to happen.
We have found that traditional family portrait sessions are usually tough to get the kids on board with. Lifestyle sessions are a much softer approach that kids are actually excited about, because they get to show us around their house and are obviously at ease to be themselves. The resulting images & video are true depictions of the family's personality and life, as opposed to an on-the-surface glimpse at that stage of life. "
